Aside from having more system resources, a reason why you could get your own hosting server and use it instead of a shared hosting plan is that you are able to install and run a large selection of software. With a shared account, you'll be able to use programs, that do not need root access and are not installed server-side, so in case you require particular software for your Internet sites, you can't set it up on a shared hosting server. This isn't the case with a hosting server of your own where you can install whatever you want. The downside is that you may not have much experience and taking care of your own machine is more challenging that managing a shared web hosting account where the provider manages most things. This is why we offer an additional service for our server plans called Installation & Troubleshooting and you could reap the benefits of it any time you face any difficulties with the supervision of your machine.
Installation and Troubleshooting in VPS Servers
The upgrade can be purchased for any of the VPS server plans irrespective of the OS and Control Panel which you have selected or the task that you need to be performed as our administrators will aid you with everything relevant to the software on the server. This includes, but is not limited to, installing third-party software, setting up hosting server options, troubleshooting scripts if they do not function efficiently, etcetera. The upgrade includes 60 minutes of work and if a specific task requires less time, the remaining minutes shall be available for the future and shall be listed within the VPS billing Control Panel. You'll be able to use the Installation & Troubleshooting service either as an independent upgrade or as an addition to the Managed Services upgrade, which supplies half an hour of custom work on your hosting server. This way, you could work on your sites without worrying that you will not be able to use some app or losing time on complex matters.
Installation and Troubleshooting in Dedicated Servers
The upgrade is available with all of our Linux dedicated web hosting plans and if you add it, our skilled admins can assist you with everything on your machine. Such as installing any third-party software that you may want to use on the web server and troubleshooting any script which performs badly or doesn't run at all. Our upgrade includes one hour of work and if a particular task isn't very time-consuming, we shall add the remaining time to your account. You shall be able to see how many minutes are left within your billing CP and use them whenever you need help again. The Installation & Troubleshooting upgrade can be ordered at any time, so if you require something to be installed in the very beginning, you can add it to your order during the sign up process, while if you need help afterwards, you could add it from the hosting server billing area. Thirty minutes of custom work are included in our Managed Services pack also, but if you need more work to be carried out on the hosting server, the Installation & Troubleshooting upgrade will be a guarantee that your programs shall be installed and set up in the best feasible way.
